Shipibo hand-embroidered cotton dress: Icaros Kené design

This is a lovely little dress, plus size. It’s hand-embroidered with icaros (plant songs), both front and back, and with sacred geometry motifs, also known as kené. It’s a unique piece, created by one of my Shipibo friends and teachers in Peru.

The dresses are one size fits most because they have some stretch. But this one is for someone who wears a size L or XL. In the photos shown, I’m wearing a size S. As you can see, it’s too big for me.

Hand wash (or machine wash on a delicate cycle) with cold water and air dry. Excellent craftsmanship and high quality for greater durability.

These dresses are absolutely gorgeous and super comfortable. This particular one can be worn as a beach sarong or with leggings.
